Radford University contracted with me to document their students and faculty conducting research in Alaska. The photos and videos I produced were used on the university’s website, social media channels, and printed materials.
The Arctic Geophysics trip to Utqiagvik (formerly known as Barrow), Alaska provided undergraduate students at Radford University with the unique opportunity to investigate parts of the thermal balance and properties of the arctic sea ice in one of the most challenging climates in the world. Under the expert guidance of their professor Dr. Rhett Herman, students collected data using professional scientific equipment, as well as a microclimate sled developed by the team, in hopes of contributing to the methodology of studying the thermal balance of the planet.
The gallery is a short photo essay produced from the trip.
